HISTORY

Vignal Società Agricola was founded in 2023 in Valdobbiadene, but its story began much earlier, among the family vineyards that have cultivated this land and produced wine for generations. The first vineyard from which my adventure started is located in the hamlet of Guia in Valdobbiadene, in the area known as Oltraval. It is the vineyard I inherited from my grandfather Egisto, who in turn received it from his father, Gioacchino.

In the village, this place has always been known as "el Vignal," a simple and familiar name, especially well remembered by the older generations. Today, for us, it represents the heart of our work and a symbol of our tradition. The choice of the name Vignal is also inspired by an old photograph of my great-grandfather Gioacchino, who presented and showcased his bottle under this very name at the historic wine fair of Guia. It was the classic “vin col fondo,” simple and authentic, tied to the rural tradition of our area.
